Alcohol markers were still a new thing for me in this sketchbook so there's still a lot of experimentation. This was the first time it occurred to me to layer colored pencil on top of marker (I think I was inspired by the "Wood carving" tutorial that used that effect to get a marker drawing to look like wood grain).
