Ted Lasso: Biscuits (Season 1, Episode 2)

Season two is almost over yet here I am still doing screen grabs from season one. (Help yourself to icons!) I'll catch up one of these days.

I love this show so much. It's one of those shows that gets better with each viewing because there are so many details you don't catch the first time around. (At this point on my first viewing, all those soccer players were interchangeable and now I'm like, "Oh, look, it's Bumbercatch!")

I've seen so many shows make stuff up as they go along and re-watching only reveals contradictions and dropped plot threads. By contrast, re-watching Ted Lasso you realize how much stuff was being foreshadowed right out of the gate. This is the episode where we first get a hint of Ted's panic attacks as we get a close up of his hands when he's getting anxious watching practice, the same gesture he makes later when he has his full-blown panic attack and even though I caught the gesture, I didn't realize the signifcance on the first viewing.
