Challenge #2: In your own space, set yourself some goals for the coming year.

Draw steadily this year. (Not putting a quantitative goal on this one as I don't want to feel like it's a chore. Any time I get behind on a goal it starts to stress me out which doesn't work well with creativity.)

Paint this year. (I haven't done any painting in years.)

Finish uploading images from my old sketchbooks. (This one's allowed to feel like a chore since it's not a creative project.)

Creative projects really do hate feeling like chores, don't they? Your approach seems perfect for creative success. I'm wishing joy in painting and the pleasure of freshly filled sketchbooks as you hone your skills. :)

I think making these kinds of goals non-quantitative and as relaxed as possible is the actual key to success with them, so in my opinion you are wise. I'm hoping to relearn how to draw this year, so I wish you the best in y our own creative endeavors!

That sketchbook master post is extremely cool. What a great idea.

Happy drawing for the new year!

It totally makes sense that you don't want to put a number on it - things that are supposed to fun definitely shouldn't feel like a chore. Good luck!

It's great that you understand what kind of goal works well for you and can adapt accordingly :D Best of luck!
